A couple of classic tracks from dEUS & The Smiths lead us on an upbeat journey: DJ Amir & Jazzanova breathe new life from the Strata catalog, and Portuguese Da Chick drops a new single, New Day, a jazzy tune with uplifting vibes.
Keeping the Portuguese mood, Sean Riley & Legendary Tigerman went on an adventure to South Spain to record Andaluzia, a homage to friendship and love of music.
Faye Webster's dazzling I Know I'm Funny haha opens the path for an eerie section: Lullaby by US saxophonist Ben Wendel; Ea from An Pierlé, Belgian pianist.
Final tracks speed up the heartbeat: two of the most influential songwriters of the past decade Sharon Van Etten & Angel Olsen deliver a momentous joint single Like I Used To.
Spiritualized's latest opus, Everything Was Beautiful, is gloriously satisfying and self-referential, refining his orchestral space rock with alchemical power.
