David Crosby (1941-2023) was a singer-songwriter and guitarist who rose to fame in the 1960s as a member of the folk rock band The Byrds, and later as a member of the influential rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He released several solo albums, and was known for his intricate guitar work and unique vocal harmonies.
Crosby was also recognized for his political activism and advocacy for environmental causes. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. He had a career spanning more than six decades, before he passed away on January 18th.
