On Jan 27, Acid Jazz Records released Chris Bangs' album of dance-floor bangers and Latin fire.

Chris, who created the term 'acid jazz,' offers 10 tracks with his signature spin on jazz DJing, reminiscent of the UK dance scene in the 80s.

The album features bossa, fusion, bop jazz funk, salsa, and other jazz styles, all delivered with Chris' ear for grooves and melodies.

Highlights include "Firebird," "East Coast" (paying tribute to jazz-funk fusion of the 80s), and "Dinamita" (with its Montuno Salsa beat).

Firebird also includes reworks of "Kitchen (Cosina)" with a Batucada beat, "Samba Do Sueno" bossa, "Sambara" Brazilian disco-funk-jazz, and the epic samba fusion "Lifetimes."
